All bookings accepted by Golf Destinations Worldwide are subject on these
terms and conditions. Golf Destinations Worldwide relies on mutual understanding
and trust between its clients and itself, and endeavours to adhere
to the Association of British Travel Agents Code of Conduct. A contract
will exist only when Golf Destinations Worldwide issues a document headed "Booking
Details".
BOOKING PROCEDURE A) Clients
should contact Golf Destinations Worldwide directly. At the time of booking
a deposit of 30% of rentals is required (plus a deposit per seat
of £50 per seat if air seats are also booked). B) Provisional
bookings for accommodation will be held for 48 hours pending receipt
of deposit. Booking details will then become firm and an account
will be issued showing the balance due and the last date upon which
it must be paid (8 weeks prior to departure). Bookings made within
8 weeks of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
PRICES A)Your holiday price
is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges. This
guarantee replaces clause 7 of full booking conditions.
CANCELLATION OR ALTERATION A)
The client may give notice in writing to cancel his booking at any
time, however in the event of cancellation after the booking has
been confirmed, the following cancellation charges are payable: Note:
In all cases the deposit paid is forfeit.
ACCOMMODATION AND/OR CAR HIRE BOOKINGS. A.1.)
More than 56 days prior to departure - 30% of total cost. A.2.) Less
than 56 days prior to departure-100% of cost. (Where possible Golf Destinations Worldwide would always endeavour to re-let accommodation
that has been cancelled and if a new let can be achieved, then the
person cancelling would only forfeit his deposit). For this reason
Golf Destinations Worldwide strongly recommends that all clients take
out Travel Insurance which covers involuntary cancellation.
AIR SEATS. Cancellation charges
vary i.e. Public fares - IATA rules apply. Tour Operator fares -
more than 56 days prior to departure 30% of total cost, 56-29 days
prior- 100%.
ALTERATION TO BOOKINGS. These
are charged at £20 per booking if the alteration is accepted.
Golf Destinations Worldwide will not cancel any arrangements and holiday
bookings which we have made on behalf of a client within 8 weeks
of departure date, unless it is necessary to do so as a result of
hostilities, political unrest or other circumstances amounting to
force major or unless the client defaults in paying by the due date.
Should Golf Destinations Worldwide be forced to make a material alteration
to a booking of any sort, we shall inform clients without delay and
we shall give all clients the choice of either accepting the alteration,
which will be of at least a comparable standard, or of receiving
a prompt (within 14 days) and full refund of all money paid. If Golf Destinations Worldwide is forced to cancel a booking, Golf Destinations Worldwide will offer an alternative and if this is unacceptable, a 100%
refund plus compensation of £20 per person.
LATE ARRIVAL. Golf Destinations Worldwide cannot accept responsibility for clients missing
aircraft due to late check-in at the Airport.
PASSPORTS VISAS HEALTH REQUIREMENTS & LICENCES.
All clients are responsible for ensuring that they have all the necessary
valid documents when travelling.
ACCOMMODATION. The accommodation
provided is for the use of the passengers listed on the booking detail.
Subletting, sharing or assignment is prohibited. In the unlikely
event that Golf Destinations Worldwide are advised that the accommodation
as booked is not available after the clients have departed from the
UK, every effort would be made to offer comparable or better accommodation
than that booked. Should this not be available, Golf Destinations Worldwide would provide alternative accommodation and reasonable compensation
would be offered. All damage and breakages will be charged to clients
and must be paid before departure from the resort. Should Destination
Europe be notified that this sort of account has not been settled,
the amount will be deducted from the credit card deposited for this
purpose. To comply with the regulations governing the sale of inclusive
holidays, Golf Destinations Worldwide must make available and include
in the total price the main components of a holiday i.e. return flight
and accommodation.
COMPLAINTS. If a client has
any reason for complaint it is obligatory that he contact a Golf Destinations Worldwide Representative as soon as possible in order that
immediate action can be taken to rectify any faults. Failure to comply
with this requirement will seriously jeopardise any compensation
claim into which the complainant enters. Any complaint about a holiday
after return should be made in writing within 28 day to the Customer
Relations Manager.
TRANSFERS: Transfers are not provided but can
be arranged at an extra cost.
LIABILITY. Golf Destinations Worldwide will use all reasonable endeavours to provide the booked accommodation
as described in the brochure (or supplementary information provided),
but will not be responsible if, having used all reasonable endeavours,
it is unable to do so. Golf Destinations Worldwide will accept responsibility
for the acts omissions of it's employees, agents and suppliers save
in the respect of injury, illness and death where liability only
attaches to an act of proven negligence of an employee or agent,
acting in the course of their employment. The obligations and responsibilities
of Golf Destinations Worldwide in respect of carriage by air and sea
limited in the manner provided by the International Convention.
PAYMENTS: Payments
should be made to Golf Destinations Worldwide. Where payments are
being made from abroad these should be in the form of a bankers draft
sterling drawn on a London Bank. Other forms of foreign cheques may
incur bank charges which will be to the client's account. A charge
of 2% may be levied for payment by credit card.
TRAVEL INSURANCE. All Golf Destinations Worldwide Clients are required as a condition of booking
to be adequately insured.
FLIGHTS. Golf Destinations Worldwide will make arrangements for your flights if requested to do
so from any UK airport to a specified destination airport, either
scheduled or charter, In either case we act as an Agent for the specified
Airline or Tour Operator but are unable to define a carrier or type
of aircraft until the booking is made: a subsequent change in either
of these does not constitute a reason for cancellation without penalty.
ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS. Golf Destinations Worldwide will assume that by payment of deposit or balance
for your travel arrangements, you accept the above conditions.
